About CABSAT

CABSAT is an annual trade show in Dubai for media, broadcast, satellite and pro AV technology, covering content creation and virtual production, broadcast and IP workflows, and integrated AV systems. It is organised by inD, a DWTC Informa company, at Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai, and runs alongside SATEXPO for satellite and connectivity and the Contentverse conference on the content business.

CABSAT 2027 in Dubai

CABSAT returns on 4–6 May 2027 to Halls S17 and S19 of Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai. The floor is open 10:00 to 17:00, closing an hour earlier, at 16:00, on the final day, 6 May.

What it is

CABSAT is a media, broadcast, satellite and Pro AV exhibition for the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, established in 1993. It is co-located with SatExpo, putting satellite and broadcast under one roof. The organiser frames the show around four pillars: content creation, storytelling and virtual production; media technology, cloud and IP workflows; Pro AV, immersive environments and integrated systems; and ethics, sustainability and diversity in media.

The audience the organiser describes runs from filmmakers, producers and scriptwriters to OTT platforms and broadcasters, broadcast engineers and system integrators, satellite operators and telcos, content buyers and distributors, animation and VFX studios, ad-tech specialists, investors and government and regulatory bodies.

Programme and features

Contentverse is the show's conference track on the content business: content strategy, monetisation, AI in the creative workflow and regional content formats.
Deal-making features named by the organiser include a Co-Production Salon, a Hosted Buyer Program and VIP lounges.
Moved dates. The 2026 show was held in October at the same venue; 2027 returns to a May slot. Dubai Exhibition Centre became CABSAT's home from 2026.

Getting there

The organiser recommends Dubai Metro to Expo 2020 Station. On-site parking at Dubai Exhibition Centre is limited and paid, and Park & Ride is available from several metro stations. Visitor passes are issued through online registration on cabsat.com.
