Cyber Security Summit Austin 2027

The 5th annual Austin Official Cybersecurity Summit is on Thursday, May 27, 2027, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Central. The organiser's registration page lists the venue as to be announced, so check it before booking travel.

What it is

A one-day, in-person summit for CISOs, security leaders and practitioners, run by CyberRisk Alliance. The organiser holds these summits in hotels rather than convention centers and fills the day with panels, fast-track discussions and demonstrations from security vendors, plus a catered breakfast, networking lunch and closing cocktail reception.

Themes

The agenda is built around three themes: AI, automation and emerging-tech risk; supply chain, third-party and identity risk; and resilience, with cyber risk quantification and reporting security in business terms.

Admission rules

• Admission is reserved for active cybersecurity, IT and information security practitioners, and every registration is reviewed. Students, interns, educators, people not currently employed in IT, and anyone in a sales or marketing role are not eligible.
• Attendees who stay for the whole day and confirm their attendance at the end receive a certificate for Continuing Education Units (CEU) or Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits.
