Farm Progress Show 2027

The Farm Progress Show 2027 runs August 31–September 2, 2027 in Decatur, Illinois, Tuesday to Thursday, with gates open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. The organiser gives the location simply as Farm Progress Show, Decatur, Illinois, and has not yet published a 2027 street address.

What it is

The Farm Progress Show is an outdoor farm show run by Informa Markets, where producers and agribusinesses meet to see new equipment, products and practices for the farm. It is held on open ground, not in a hall, with field demonstrations alongside the exhibit fields. For the 2024 show in Boone, Iowa, the organiser cited 85 acres of exhibit fields and nearly 600 agribusinesses.

Boone and Decatur

The organiser states that the show alternates between its two permanent event facilities: Boone, Iowa in even-numbered years and Decatur, Illinois in odd-numbered years. After 2027 the published dates are August 29–31, 2028 in Boone and August 28–30, 2029 in Decatur.
