IFA Leadership Summit and Franchise Action Network Annual Meeting 2027
About IFA Leadership Summit and Franchise Action Network Annual Meeting
Annual summit for franchise leaders and policymakers, focusing on advocacy, leadership, and industry trends.
IFA Advocacy Summit 2027
The International Franchise Association's Advocacy Summit runs June 21–23, 2027 in Washington, DC. IFA has published the dates and city but not yet a venue. The summit moves to June after the 2026 meeting ran in September.
What it is
The Advocacy Summit is IFA's annual policy meeting for the franchise community — the event formerly listed as the IFA Leadership Summit and Franchise Action Network Annual Meeting. IFA describes it as connecting the franchising community with lawmakers: attendees hear the latest legislative and policy updates affecting franchising, then go to Capitol Hill to meet their own representatives in Congress. IFA sets up those meetings and briefs participants beforehand.
It is aimed at franchisees, franchisors and suppliers alike. In 2026 the agenda centred on the American Franchise Act, the federal bill on joint-employer rules that IFA is campaigning for.
Practical notes
- The organiser's events page says the summit is open to IFA and Franchise Action Network (FAN) members only.
- In 2026 the program ran as a summit day followed by a day of Capitol Hill meetings, and the summit day reached venue capacity and closed registration early; IFA still welcomed members to join the Hill meetings.
- IFA is taking sign-ups through an Advocacy Summit interest form on its site for 2027 updates.
