National Restaurant Association Show 2027

The National Restaurant Association Show runs May 22–25, 2027 at McCormick Place, 2301 S. King Drive, Chicago, Illinois.

What it is

The show is the annual trade event of the restaurant and foodservice industry. It is run for the National Restaurant Association by Informa, and the organizer says it has been a resource for foodservice and hospitality professionals since 1919. Exhibitors show equipment, restaurant technology, food and beverage products and services, and the organizer counts more than 2,000 exhibitors across 900+ product categories.

Buyers come from every part of foodservice: chains from quick service to family dining, independent restaurants, bars and coffee shops, non-commercial operators such as schools, hospitals, the military and senior living, convenience and grocery retail, lodging and casinos, and dealers and distributors. By registering, you confirm that you work in the restaurant, hospitality or foodservice industry.

• Saturday, May 22: 9:30am–5pm
• Sunday, May 23: 9:30am–5pm
• Monday, May 24: 9:30am–5pm
• Tuesday, May 25: 9:30am–3pm

Badges

• Expo badge: four days of show floor access, the four show-floor theaters, the Sunday keynote and the Monday featured session.
• Essential badge: adds three days of operator-led classroom sessions and on-demand recordings on Streamly from June 4, 2027.
• Premium badge: adds a ticket to the official After Party at House of Blues Chicago on Monday, May 24, one bootcamp, priority entry to the keynote, and other extras.

Education tracks include Culinary Insights, Technology Strategies, Workforce Management, Operations Solutions and Marketing Matters.

On the floor

The floor spans the South Hall, North Hall and Lakeside Center. Kitchen Innovations and Organic & Natural are in the South Hall, the TECH Pavilion and Taste of the States are in the North Hall, and The Beverage Room and the Global Food Expo are in Lakeside Center. There are culinary demos, the FABI and Kitchen Innovations awards, and networking events including an International Reception.

Rules and badge pickup

• Age: no one under 16 is allowed on the show floor, including infants, and strollers are not permitted. Anyone aged 16 to 18 must be with an adult at all times.
• Photography: photos and video need approval from the exhibitor and show management.
• No suitcasing: soliciting business in the aisles without a booth is not allowed.
• Badge pickup: collect your badge in person with your confirmation and a government photo ID, at South Building Room S102 or the Lakeside Center Level 2 lobby. Badges can also be printed early at four downtown hotels: the Chicago Marriott Magnificent Mile, Sheraton Grand, Hilton Chicago and Hyatt Regency Chicago.
