SuperZoo 2027

SuperZoo is a North American pet retail event, featuring over 65 educational sessions and hundreds of exhibitors. It is a B2B event for pet industry professionals.

SuperZoo runs August 10–13, 2027 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center (Halls A–F) in Las Vegas. Education sessions run August 10–11, and the trade show floor is open August 11–13.

What it is

SuperZoo is a pet retail trade show presented by the World Pet Association (WPA), which says the show has run since 1950 and calls it "North America's largest pet retail show." Manufacturers and suppliers show pet products to buyers from pet specialty stores, grocery, convenience, hardware and farm stores, mass and club retailers, online retail and housewares. The floor is organized into dedicated areas: Specialty & Lifestyle, Groomer's Marketplace, the International Pavilion, Aquatics, Birds, Reptiles & Small Animals, Natural & Health, and Emerging Brands. A New Product Showcase highlights launches.

The organizer reports 65 seminars and sessions, covering retail and grooming education, special grooming sessions and short show-floor talks of about 15 minutes. Proceeds from the show support WPA's Good Works pet welfare program.

Trade only: who can register

SuperZoo is a private trade show and is not open to the public. Attendance is limited to pet professionals who buy pets or pet products or provide pet services to consumers, and WPA qualifies each business on its primary function. Qualifying categories include retailers (from aquarium, reptile and grooming stores to feed and farm, gift and online retailers), distributors and importers, and pet service businesses such as veterinarians, groomers, pet sitters, day care, boarding and trainers.

First-time registrants must submit proof such as invoices from a recognized pet distributor or manufacturer, a business license or a letter of intent for new businesses. Industry suppliers who are not exhibiting, such as consultants, agencies and logistics firms, can attend under a separate affiliate category. Breeders and rescues do not qualify.

On site

Badges are not mailed. Registered attendees get a QR code by email, and badges can be printed at registration desks at Mandalay Bay, the W Las Vegas and Luxor. On-site registration is available.

Children 15 and under must be registered and badged as minors and supervised at all times, and they can't go into classrooms. Attendees can't bring pets; only demo, booth display and service animals are allowed. Photos of booths or products are not allowed.

The evening program includes the SuperZoo Beach Party at the Mandalay Beach (21+, badge required) and a mini golf networking event at Swingers for retailers and emerging-brand exhibitors (18+).
