Accountex Canada is a conference and expo for accountants, bookkeepers, CPAs and finance leaders, combining CPD-verified sessions with an exhibit floor of accounting software, automation and fintech vendors. It is run by Diversified Communications Canada.

What it is

Accountex Canada is a two-day conference and expo for accountants, bookkeepers, finance leaders and the technology vendors who serve them. Diversified Communications Canada runs it.

On the organizer's list of who should attend: CFOs, controllers, finance managers, payroll managers, tax specialists, sole practitioners and trainee accountants. Exhibitors on the floor show software, automation and AI tools in categories that include cloud solutions, cyber security, payroll, tax, expense management, document management, data capture and OCR, forecasting, and outsourcing.

CPD credits

The 2026 program has 31 CPD-verified sessions across the two days. The organizer says attendees can earn up to 24 CPD verifiable credits and receive a certificate of attendance after the conference.

Sessions are tagged by track, including Artificial Intelligence/Technology/Software/Automation, Practice Growth & Management, Governance/Regulatory Changes, and Bookkeeping/Financial Reporting Standards. Day one opens with a CPA Canada economic update keynote.

Registration and getting there

• Registration is individual, or a Group Conference Pass for firms sending three or more attendees at a flat rate.
• Parking at the venue is free for every attendee.
• Malton GO Station, on the Kitchener Line, connects to The International Centre by a tunnel walkway.
• Toronto Pearson is about 3 km away, and the venue is reachable from Highways 401, 427, 409 and 407.
• The organizer names an official host hotel.
