Plastimagen México is a trade exhibition for the plastics industry in Mexico City, covering plastics machinery, equipment, raw materials and services for manufacturers, converters, distributors and buyers, with a conference program included in visitor registration.

Plastimagen runs November 10–13, 2026 at Centro Banamex, Mexico City.

What it is

Plastimagen México is a plastics-industry exhibition covering machinery, equipment, raw materials, solutions and services. The organizer pitches it as the meeting point for the whole plastics value chain: manufacturers, converters, distributors, engineers, buyers and decision makers from across the region, with national and international suppliers under one roof.

For 2026 the organizer projects more than 740 exhibitors and more than 29,000 trade visitors. The show occupies Halls A, B, C and D plus the Infield area of Centro Banamex.

Hours and admission

• The exhibition is open 12:00–19:00 on all four days, Tuesday through Friday.
• Admission is for industry professionals aged 21 and over. Visitor registration is free for a limited time.
• Students (18 and over) are admitted only on Wednesday, November 11, from 13:00 to 15:00.

Conferences and Infield 360

The Summit conference program runs in the Infield 360 area, and every session is included with a visitor registration. Each day has its own theme:

• Tue Nov 10: science and materials for the future of plastics, including biopolymers and chemical recycling. A keynote by materials scientist Chris DeArmitt follows the 12:00 opening.
• Wed Nov 11: production, quality and circularity, including an ecodesign panel.
• Thu Nov 12: security and connectivity for smart manufacturing, covering industrial cybersecurity and AI.
• Fri Nov 13: smartshoring and financing, plus international plastics regulation.

Infield 360 is also the zone for live heavy machinery, food and rest areas, and an evening "After Plastimagen" networking program that includes a concert. A shuttle loop runs from the Hall D platform to the Infield 360 entrance, and signed walking routes lead from the main halls.
