Cyber Security Summit DC Metro 2027
The DC Metro Official Cybersecurity Summit takes place on Thursday, March 18, 2027, at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner, 1700 Tysons Boulevard in McLean, Virginia. The day runs 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern. The organiser bills it as the 14th DC Metro summit.
What it is
CyberRisk Alliance runs the Official Cybersecurity Summit as a one-day, in-person event for CISOs and senior security leaders in US cities, held in hotels rather than convention centers. Panels and fast-track discussions run alongside demonstrations from solution providers, with breakfast, a networking lunch and a closing cocktail reception included in the day.
Three themes
- AI, automation and emerging tech, from threat detection to deepfake detection and responsible AI governance.
- Supply chain, third parties and identity, including continuous third-party risk monitoring.
- Resilience and results, aligning security with business continuity and growth.
Registration rules
Admission is reserved for active cybersecurity, IT and information security practitioners, and every registration is reviewed. Students, interns, educators, people not currently employed in IT, and anyone in a sales or marketing role are not eligible.
Attendees who stay for the whole day and confirm their attendance at the end receive a certificate for Continuing Education Units (CEU) or Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits. A hotel booking link is on the registration page.
The Seattle/Bellevue summit falls on the same day. Other 2027 cities include New York City (February 23), Philadelphia (April 22) and Boston (April 29 and October 14).
