The Official Cybersecurity Summit: San Diego 2027

The San Diego Official Cybersecurity Summit is on Thursday, February 18, 2027, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. PST at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina, 333 West Harbor Drive. It moves from September, when the 2026 San Diego summit was held, to February. The registration page carries a hotel booking link.

What it is

The Official Cybersecurity Summit is a one-day, in-person event for CISOs, senior security leaders and practitioners, run by CyberRisk Alliance in cities across the US. The organiser holds its summits in hotels rather than convention centers, and the day combines panels and fast-track discussions with demonstrations from cybersecurity solution providers.

Key issues on the agenda

• AI, automation and emerging-tech risk: AI in threat detection and incident response, and governance frameworks for generative AI.
• Supply chain, third-party and identity risk: vendor ecosystems, identity as the perimeter, zero trust and access governance.
• Resilience and business outcomes: cyber risk quantification and reporting security to the board.

Who can attend

• Practitioners only. Admission is limited to working cybersecurity, IT and information security practitioners, and every registration is reviewed. Students, interns, educators, people not currently employed in IT, and sales or marketing staff are not eligible.
• CPE/CEU credits. Attendees who stay for the full day and confirm attendance at the end receive a certificate for Continuing Education Units or CPE credits.

San Diego is one stop on a national schedule. In early 2027 the series also visits Tampa, Atlanta, Silicon Valley and New York, followed by Seattle/Bellevue, DC Metro, Philadelphia, Chicago, Boston and others.
