electronica 2028

electronica is the world’s leading trade fair for electronics components, systems, and applications, connecting suppliers, developers, and purchasers. It features themed conferences, forums, and a vast exhibition covering all sectors of the electronics industry.

electronica 2028

electronica 2028 takes place November 14–17, 2028 at the Trade Fair Center Messe München in Munich, Germany. The show is held every two years, so there is no 2027 event; the 2026 show ran November 10–13. Messe München says the exact 2028 opening hours will be published once they are known.

What it is

electronica is Messe München's trade fair and conference for the electronics industry, held since 1964. The organizer says it covers the full range of technologies, products and solutions behind an All Electric Society, with practice-oriented forums and the electronica Automotive Conference covering research and application trends from automation with AI to electromobility and smart energy.

What to know before you go

• Shorter final day. In 2026 visitor hours were 09:00–18:00 Tuesday to Thursday and 09:00–15:00 on the Friday. Expect a similar pattern, but check the 2028 hours when they are posted.
• No re-entry. Messe München notes that a visitor ticket does not let you re-enter the fair once you leave.
• Buy ahead. Tickets bought online in advance cost less than at the entrance and avoid the queue.
• SEMICON Europa alongside. In 2026 SEMICON Europa ran as a partner event with identical opening hours.
