The Indiana Flower + Patio Show is a public spring home and garden show at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, produced by Marketplace Events. It features showcase gardens, home-improvement exhibitors and gardening presentations.

What it is

The Indiana Flower + Patio Show is a public home and garden show produced by Marketplace Events. It is open to consumers, not a trade-only event.

Visitors come to shop in person for home and garden products and services, look at display gardens, talk to local home professionals and watch stage presentations. It takes up two buildings at the fairgrounds, the Expo Hall and the West Pavilion.

The 2026 show featured:

• Showcase Gardens from the Indianapolis Landscape Association, with guided tours
• An AIFD flower sale
• Presentations on the County Materials Stage
• Deck Wars
• A plant market
• Gardening advice from the Purdue Extension Master Gardeners

Hours

The show runs for nine days:

• Saturday, March 13: 10 AM – 8 PM
• Sunday, March 14: 10 AM – 5 PM
• Monday–Thursday, March 15–18: 10 AM – 7 PM
• Friday–Saturday, March 19–20: 10 AM – 8 PM
• Sunday, March 21: 10 AM – 5 PM

The preview gala, Noble Evening in the Gardens, is on Friday, March 12, 2027, among the showcase gardens. It has food from local restaurants, live entertainment and silent and live auctions, and gala tickets are handled separately through the show office. The show page pairs the gala with Noble of Indiana, which creates opportunities for people with disabilities.

Tickets and theme days

Tickets cost less online than at the door, children 12 and under get in free, and discount tickets or coupons are sold through participating Menards and Ace Hardware stores. The organizer also lists these free-admission days, each requiring valid ID:

• Teacher Day (Sunday, March 14) for teachers and school staff
• Senior Day (Tuesday, March 16) for visitors 65 and over
• Hero Day (Friday, March 19) for active military, veterans, police and firefighters

Admission is reduced after 5 PM Monday through Thursday. Parking at the fairgrounds is a separate daily charge.
