Interior Design Show Toronto 2027

The Interior Design Show (IDS Toronto) is an annual design fair held in Toronto each January. It shows global and Canadian furniture, lighting and interior products to designers, architects and design-minded consumers, and includes an accredited seminar program. It is run by Informa Connect.

Interior Design Show Toronto runs January 21–24, 2027 at Metro Toronto Convention Centre North Building, Toronto.

What it is

IDS Toronto is a design fair for both the trade and the public. The organizer says it "celebrates and promotes the best in global and Canadian design, from emerging designers to legacy brands." The show floor mixes exhibitor stands with designed installations, prototypes and a marketplace.

The first Interior Design Show opened in January 1999. Informa bought the show in 2012, and it is now run by Informa Connect.

Trade program and admission

The IDS Conference is a program of accredited seminars and keynotes that runs over the show's first two days. The 2027 hours and ticket details are not posted yet. At the 2026 show the format was:

• Opening-night IDS Party: open to both the public and the trade, with its own ticket
• Professional trade days: for the design trade, with the accredited seminar program. Seminars were booked separately and added during trade badge registration.
• Public days on the weekend: the Saturday was both a trade and a public day
• Keynotes: free with any show pass

Show features

Features change each year. At the 2026 show they included:

• ILLUMINATE, a curated lighting section
• Furniture Forecast
• How We Work, installations exploring the workplace
• The District, where visitors can buy home decor
• Studio North and Prototype, for independent designers and products not yet in production

Sibling show

IDS Vancouver, the West Coast version of the show, runs September 24–27, 2026 at the Vancouver Convention Centre West.
