The autumn Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics fair runs September 1–3, 2027, Wednesday to Friday, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai. That is a week later in the calendar than 2026, when it ran August 25–27.

What it is

Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics is Messe Frankfurt (HK)'s trade fair for apparel fabrics and accessories, held twice a year in Shanghai, with a spring and an autumn fair. Messe Frankfurt reports that the 2026 autumn fair covered 240,000 square metres with over 3,500 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions and over 100,000 visitors.

On the floor

• Trend forum. Intertextile Directions presents the season's trend themes; the 2026 forum set out the themes for Autumn/Winter 2027–28.
• Feature areas. Recent fairs have included The CUBE, a functional display area with textile machinery and performance testing, an Econogy Hub for sustainable textiles, and, from 2026, a Pet Boutique section for pet apparel fabrics and accessories.
• Fringe programme. Seminars, panels and forums run across the halls, covering design and trends, market information, sustainability and textile technology.

• Spring fair. The spring fair runs March 10–12, 2027 at the same venue.
