Iowa Ag Expo 2027
The Iowa Ag Expo 2027 runs February 2–4, 2027 at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, Iowa. The last day closes an hour early.
What it is
The Iowa Ag Expo is an indoor farm show held every winter in Des Moines. It is produced by the Iowa-Nebraska Equipment Dealers Association (INEDA). The organizers call it the third-largest indoor ag show in the United States, spread over 7.25 acres in three buildings: the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center, EMC Expo Center and Casey's Center.
Exhibitors cover the full range of farm business, from big iron, precision ag and aerial imaging to livestock production, inputs, data management, autonomous equipment, electric vehicles, robotics and AI tools. The show started in 1910 as the Iowa Power Farming Show and was renamed the Iowa Ag Expo in 2020.

- Tuesday, February 2: 9am–4pm
- Wednesday, February 3: 9am–4pm
- Thursday, February 4: 9am–3pm
Adults need a ticket, and tickets cost less bought online in advance than at the door. The FAQ says students with a valid student ID and all children under 14 get in free, and student groups are welcome.
Show programs are available free at every building entrance. Pets are not allowed, apart from leashed service animals.
What's on
- AgTalks: short education sessions in the Convention Center Ballroom, Room 401, covering grain marketing, farm succession, agronomy and market outlooks.
- Innovation Hubs: hand-selected agtech companies in the Convention Center ballroom and on the main floor of Casey's Center.
- Career Exploration Event: guided tours for students led by local equipment dealers.
Getting there
Parking at Principal Park (1 Line Drive) is free, and a free shuttle runs from there to Casey's Center every 10–15 minutes on all three days. There is also paid parking near the Convention Center and in the 5th Street and 7th Street ramps.
The organizers have announced future dates of February 1–3, 2028 and January 30–February 1, 2029. INEDA also runs a sister show, the Nebraska Ag Expo.
