JLC LIVE is Informa Markets' regional residential construction show in Providence. Remodelers, home builders, contractors and tradespeople attend live on-floor building clinics, exhibitor demonstrations and a classroom conference program.

JLC LIVE New England runs March 18–20, 2027 at Rhode Island Convention Center, Providence.

What it is

JLC LIVE is a regional trade show for residential construction. The organizer, Informa Markets, calls it "the most anticipated regional trade event of the year for residential construction." It is aimed at remodelers, home builders, contractors and tradespeople, who learn through live on-floor building clinics, exhibitor demonstrations and classroom-style conference sessions. The building clinics are the centerpiece.

Their tracks cover framing, mechanicals for general contractors, building technology, decks, drywall, exteriors, high-performance building, roofing and trim carpentry. The organizer also promotes Spanish-language training under the JLC LIVE En Español name, and the 2026 conference included an En Español track.

Conference and exhibit hall run on different days

The conference runs all three days. The exhibit hall is open only on the last two.

• Conference: Thursday, March 18, 7:30 a.m.–6 p.m.; Friday, March 19, 7:30 a.m.–4 p.m.; Saturday, March 20, 8–11:30 a.m. For 2027 the sessions are in the Omni's 3rd-floor conference rooms and Narragansett Ballrooms A, B and C.
• Exhibit hall: Friday, March 19, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; Saturday, March 20, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
• Welcome party: Friday, March 19 at 5 p.m. at The Strand Ballroom on Washington Street.

Passes and credits

The education program is sold separately from floor access. An all-access pass covers conference sessions Thursday through Saturday, many of which offer AIA/CEU credits. It also covers the exhibit hall and the Thursday conference happy hour.

The expo pass covers the hall and the live clinics and demonstrations on Friday and Saturday, with conference sessions available à la carte. A Saturday-only pass also exists. Groups of 10 or more can register as a group.
