Melbourne International Coffee Expo 2027
The Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE) runs March 4–6, 2027, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in Melbourne, Australia.
What it is
MICE is a coffee industry trade show that started in 2012. It brings together café owners, roasters, baristas, producers and suppliers for three days on coffee, business and connection.
Exhibitors cover every part of the supply chain, and the organizer says attendees can see new equipment and technology, taste coffee from producing countries, hear from industry leaders, and meet the people behind the products. Exhibitors are pitched to an audience of café owners, buyers, roasters and other industry professionals looking for new products, equipment and partners.
Programs inside the show
- Café Owners Education Series: a conference program run with BeanScene magazine, with practical sessions on efficiency, marketing, profitability and sustainability for café owners. It runs across all three days and is included with a MICE ticket.
- Roasters Playground: gives Australian coffee roasters half-day slots to present their coffees to café owners, buyers and other industry visitors.
- GCR Leaders Symposium: a morning event on Friday, March 5, 2027, at MCEC for roasters, café operators, green bean traders and industry decision-makers. The organizer will announce speakers and the start time closer to the show.
- Live demonstrations, cuppings and tastings on the exhibition floor.
- MICE at Night: an evening event on Friday, March 5.
The organizer also runs the Product Innovation Awards and a Trip to Origin program.
Tickets
There are two ticket types. A Day Pass covers one day of your choice, with the exhibition floor, the Café Owners Education Series, the Roasters Playground and the floor demonstrations.
A 3-Day Pass covers all three days and adds MICE at Night. Friday Day Pass holders also get into MICE at Night.
