METALCON 2027 in Louisville
METALCON moves to Louisville, Kentucky for October 26–28, 2027, at the Kentucky International Convention Center, 221 S. 4th Street. The show floor is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 28. Keynote presentations start at 9 a.m. on the Tuesday and Wednesday.
What it is
METALCON is the trade show and conference for the metal construction industry. The organiser addresses contractors, architects, fabricators, manufacturers, distributors and developers, and frames the floor as a place to compare products and suppliers side by side.
Education
The 2026 programme was organised into learning centers: the Design District, the Contractor Business Success Center, Installation Techniques, Metal Performance, and Tools & Technology, alongside the METALCON Training Zone and Metal Mastery Clinics for hands-on training and live demonstrations.
- Included vs. paid. In 2026, all education sessions except workshops were included with registration, with no sign-up needed. Workshops are a separate, paid purchase and run before the exhibit hall opens.
- Seating at sessions is first come, first served.
- Credits. METALCON education is accredited by organisations including the AIA and the Florida DBPR. The Design District is aimed at architects, designers, specifiers and engineers and offers AIA LUs including HSWs.
- Spanish sessions were added in 2026 for Spanish-speaking contractors, fabricators and tradespeople.
