Miami Modern + Contemporary (MM+C) is Art Miami Show Group's January art fair in downtown Miami on Biscayne Bay. International galleries present modern and post-war masters, blue-chip contemporary work, and emerging and mid-career artists to collectors.

What it is

Miami Modern + Contemporary (MM+C) is a five-day art fair from Art Miami Show Group, the organizer behind Art Miami. International galleries present blue-chip contemporary, post-war and modern masters alongside emerging and mid-career artists from the contemporary market.

The organizer pitches the fair at Miami's year-round collector market, and its VIP program targets collectors, curators, artists, art enthusiasts and the press. The fair is co-directed by Nick Korniloff and Julian Navarro.

Hours: preview night, then four public days

• Platinum VIP Preview: Wednesday, January 20, 4:30 PM – 6 PM
• VIP Preview: Wednesday, January 20, 6 PM – 10 PM, for MM+C VIP passholders and members of the press
• Public days: January 21, 22 and 23, 11 AM – 7 PM
• Final day: Sunday, January 24, 11 AM – 5 PM

The organizer frames the VIP evening as the first chance to acquire works before the fair opens to the public the next day. VIP status is by application, and the VIP page gives a contact for non-journalists who want to apply. Public tickets go on sale 60 days before opening.

Getting there

• Parking: public parking in the Omni Garage next to the pavilion, with extra entrances on Bayshore Drive and 17th Street. Valet is first come, first served.
• Transit: the free Metromover's Adrienne Arsht station is one block away, and the free Wynwood and Biscayne trolleys connect there. The organizer also points visitors to Brightline rail, and there are three Citi Bike stations nearby.
