The National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Convention runs October 9–12, 2027 at the Marriott Marquis in San Diego, California. It is a year away from its usual home: NFRA's published dates put the 2026 and 2028 conventions at the Gaylord National in National Harbor, Maryland.

What it is

The convention is the National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association's (NFRA) October meeting for the frozen and refrigerated foods industry — retailers, manufacturers from emerging brands to large established accounts, sales agents, logistics providers and suppliers. NFRA's second annual event is the Executive Conference, held in April (April 18–21, 2027).

How it works

The convention is built around customer business meetings rather than a conventional exhibit hall. NFRA gives Retailer members complimentary meeting rooms, and manufacturers, brokers and suppliers book one-on-one appointments with them before arriving; there are also breakfast speakers, luncheons and a networking reception. NFRA cites 7.5k business meetings, 1.9k attendees, 150+ new products and 150+ meeting rooms.

• Product sampling: food companies can showcase products at Café NFRA, which runs across three days, or at the Taste of Excellence kickoff reception.
• Tabletop exhibits are available for non-food products.
