NINC (Novelists, Inc.) Conference 2027

An annual conference focused on career development for novelists and indie publishers with panels, networking, and industry insights.

NINC Conference 2027

The 38th annual NINC Conference runs September 22–25, 2027, Wednesday through Saturday, at the TradeWinds Island Grand Beach Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida.

What it is

The conference is the annual meeting of Novelists, Inc. (NINC), a professional organization for career novelists. The organizer describes three and a half days of programming on craft, business and mindset aimed at working, multi-published authors, with sponsors and industry guests from across publishing in the room.

How the week runs

• Wednesday is check-in, a welcome reception dinner and NINC Innovators, where members share what is working in their author businesses.
• Thursday and Friday carry the main programme: five concurrent workshop tracks, the Network at NINC Suite for informal meetings with attendees, sponsors and industry guests, and evening roundtables.
• Meet Our Sponsors Happy Hour (MOSHH) puts publishing-industry sponsors and their services in one room with attendees.
• Saturday has the Craft, Mindset & Business Intensive and a closing beachside dinner.

Who can attend

The full conference is for NINC members, plus registered publishing professionals and service providers and assistants attending with a member. Authors who are not yet members must apply to join by June 25 to attend in 2027. The Intensive is open to non-members as a separate one-day ticket, with sales opening in January 2027; it is included in the full conference registration.

Registration closes July 31, 2027, and the organizer says the full schedule will be posted by July 1, 2027. Several meals are included with registration, and dress is business casual.
