Rock 'n' Roll San Jose 2026

Rock 'n' Roll San Jose is the IRONMAN Group's autumn race weekend in downtown San Jose, part of the Rock 'n' Roll Running Series. Its flat half marathon, 10K, 5K and KiDS ROCK courses are paired with a free, public Health & Fitness Expo at the convention center's South Hall for packet pickup.

Rock 'n' Roll San Jose runs October 3–4, 2026 in San Jose.

What it is

Rock 'n' Roll San Jose is the Rock 'n' Roll Running Series race weekend in downtown San Jose, which the organizer calls "Speed City." The courses are flat and aimed at both first-timers and runners chasing a personal record. Distances are half marathon, 10K, 5K and KiDS ROCK, with live bands, DJs and cheer squads along the route.

The Health & Fitness Expo is free and open to the public, with running technology, fitness apparel, health and nutrition information and interactive displays. Every runner must go to the expo to collect their race number, gear bag and t-shirt, and you can also register on site there.

Expo hours

The expo is in the South Hall of the San Jose McEnery Convention Center (435 S Market St.). The organizer notes that South Hall is separate from the main convention center space on S Market.

• Friday, October 2: 1 PM – 6 PM
• Saturday, October 3: 9 AM – 5 PM

Parking is available at the convention center.

Race weekend

• Saturday, October 3: 5K at 7:30 AM (S. Market St. and E. William St.); KiDS ROCK at 9 AM (S Market St at Balbach St)
• Sunday, October 4: 10K and half marathon at 8 AM (S. Market St. and E. William St.); Finish Line Festival at Plaza Park, 9 AM – 1:30 PM

The half marathon has a four-hour time limit and finishes at Plaza Park. The organizer marks the schedule as subject to change.
