SCTE TechExpo 2027

A major technology exposition for cable and telecommunications professionals held annually in September. Brings together technology innovators and industry leaders to showcase latest solutions in broadband, video, and communications.

SCTE TechExpo27 in Denver

SCTE TechExpo27 takes place September 28–30, 2027 in Denver, Colorado, moving on from Atlanta, where TechExpo26 was held. SCTE has not yet named the Denver venue.

What it is

TechExpo is the annual broadband technology conference and show floor of SCTE, the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers, which works alongside CableLabs on technical standards, operational practices and workforce training. The organiser describes it as the place where the broadband industry looks at what comes next: AI, convergence, autonomy and the technologies behind connected experiences.

The programme

The 2026 conference ran in tracks, which give a fair picture of the ground covered:

• Multi-Access Convergence — DOCSIS, fiber, Wi-Fi and 5G as one architecture.
• Experience Era for Consumers — home network optimisation and service reliability.
• New Growth Opportunities — Network-as-a-Service, APIs and edge platforms.
• AI Infrastructure and Autonomous Networks.
• Operations, Planning & Construction — digital twins, AI-assisted planning and field operations.
• StreamTech featuring SEGMENTS, co-hosted with the Streaming Video Technology Alliance, and the SCTE Energy 360 Summit.

SCTE says Priority Point sales for 2027 exhibit space open December 1, 2026. Attendees can register their interest in TechExpo27 on the organiser's site.
