What it is

The Tacoma Holiday Festival is a four-day public holiday shopping show produced by Marketplace Events. The organizer calls this year's festival the 44th annual.

Local artisans and vendors sell holiday gifts and décor, and there is food, live music and family features. For 2026, the organizer lists:

• a 25-foot living blue spruce Christmas tree and a Christmas cottage photo spot
• a Holiday Workshop space and daily holiday piano music
• Puppermint Lane, with adoptable dogs from local rescue groups
• Santa photos, a Main Street of vendors, and a coat and parcel check
• a toy and book drive for Toys for Kids at MultiCare Mary Bridge Children's Hospital

Tickets and getting in

A ticket is good for one day only. For same-day re-entry, get a hand stamp in the lobby before you leave. To come back on another day, pick up a new entry ticket from the show office.

Buying at the box office with the organizer's printable coupon costs less than buying online. Online, tickets bought in multiples of four are discounted. Children 12 and under get in free, and so do military personnel with government ID at the box office.

Everyone goes through metal detectors. Knives, sharp tools bought at earlier shows, and reusable metal water bottles are not allowed. Concessions in the building are cashless, but many vendors take cash.

On-site parking is paid and card-only. Free parking is available in the Sound Transit station garages about 0.3 miles away, though the walk back is uphill.
