Tokyo Game Show 2027
Tokyo Game Show 2027 is scheduled for September 16–20, 2027, Thursday to the Monday holiday. The organiser's announcement does not yet name a venue; the 2026 show was held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, and this page will carry the 2027 venue once CESA states it.
What it is
Tokyo Game Show (TGS) is organised by the Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association (CESA), co-organised by Nikkei Business Publications and Sony Music Solutions, and supported by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Agency for Cultural Affairs. The organiser frames it as a place where games people from around the world, across ages and national borders, come to play, connect and envision the future.
Planning notes
- Business days come first. In 2026 the first two days were business days (10:00–17:00) and the remaining three were open to the public, with a 16:00 close on the final day. The 2027 split has not been published.
- The 2026 floor included an Event Stage and official program, a Family Game Park, a cosplay area, an Influencer/Creator Lounge and the Indie Game Project.
