Weld County Fair 2027

The Weld County Fair is Greeley, Colorado's free annual county fair, held the last full week in July. It showcases livestock shows, 4-H and FFA projects and open-class exhibits, and is presented by a volunteer board appointed by the Weld County Commissioners with CSU Extension as educational adviser.

Weld County Fair runs July 24–August 2, 2027 in Greeley.

What it is

The Weld County Fair is the county's annual agricultural fair, built around livestock shows and competitions, open-class exhibits and 4-H projects. Youth and adults exhibit work across agriculture, livestock, natural resources, engineering, consumer and family science, fine arts, horticulture and family living.

A volunteer board appointed by the Weld County Commissioners plans and presents it, working with the county's Fair Coordinator and staff, with Colorado State University Extension agents as educational advisers. The fair belongs to the Colorado Association of Fairs and Shows, the Rocky Mountain Association of Fairs and the International Association of Fairs and Expositions.

Visiting

• Hours: the fair's vendor page lists the 2027 fair at 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily.
• Admission: admission and parking are free, and most events and activities are open to the public.
• Food and shopping: food, beverage and retail vendors are grouped in the outdoor Vendor Court and an indoor Vendor Hall. Sponsors fund a free community barbecue on the last Sunday of the fair and a free pancake breakfast on Thursday morning.
• Pets: dogs are not allowed in buildings or near show rings during the fair. Service dogs are the only exception.
• During the fair the fair office moves from the Exhibition Building to the Event Center.

Entering and exhibiting

Open-class entries are open to anyone. You do not need to belong to a 4-H club or FFA chapter, and there is no Weld County residency requirement. Vendor applications for 2027 open on the fair's vendor page on February 1, 2027.
