The A3 Business Forum is the Association for Advancing Automation's annual members-only gathering for executives in robotics, machine vision, motion control, AI and industrial automation, held at the start of each year with economic and automation-market outlooks and networking.

The A3 Business Forum runs January 18–20, 2027 in Orlando.

What it is

The Association for Advancing Automation (A3) holds the Business Forum at the start of each year for executives from its member companies. It is not organized around an exhibit hall. The program pairs economic forecasts, automation-market insight and executive keynotes with meals and member activities, and it draws leaders from robotics, machine vision, motion control, artificial intelligence and industrial automation.

A3 says more than 700 automation leaders attend each year. Attendees include CEOs, presidents, founders and owners, senior functional leaders, robot and machine vision manufacturers, motion control companies, system integrators and automation users.

Who can attend

Attendance is limited to employees of current A3 member companies, so non-members must join A3 before they can register.

How the three days run

• Day 1: an 18-hole golf scramble at the Waldorf Astoria Golf Club (advance registration required, space limited), then welcome remarks from A3 leadership and an opening networking dinner.
• Day 2: an optional 5K Wellness Walk & Run, the Economic, Business & Automation Outlook sessions, and Sports Night in the evening.
• Day 3: closing sessions in the morning, before departure.

Sessions, meals and lodging are all at one resort, and A3 names an official hotel with a room block. A3 warns that third-party "housing services" offering rooms on its behalf are scams. It does not work with brokers.
