Adventure Travel World Summit (ATWS) 2027

Trade show for adventure travel operators and professionals featuring networking, education, and brand showcasing with over 1,000 delegates worldwide.

Adventure Travel World Summit 2027 in Andalucía

The Adventure Travel World Summit (ATWS) comes to Almería, in Spain's Andalucía region, on 4–7 October 2027. The Adventure Travel Trade Association has not yet named a venue.

What it is

ATWS is the annual gathering of the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) for adventure travel professionals: tour operators, destination representatives, adventure travel writers and industry leaders. It combines keynotes and panels with a marketplace where buyers and suppliers meet.

The programme

• Sunday 3 October: pre-summit adventures.
• Monday 4 October: Day of Adventure, registration and the opening reception.
• Tuesday 5 October: educational sessions (plenary and breakouts) and networking.
• Wednesday 6 October: sessions, the Marketplace and business-to-business meetings.
• Thursday 7 October: sessions, MediaCONNECT and networking.
• Friday 8 October: delegates depart.

MediaCONNECT is a session where delegates pitch story ideas to international writers and editors. Hosted buyer and hosted media applications are open alongside general registration, and the organiser says early registration is cheaper.

The destination

ATTA's page highlights Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, the Tabernas desert and the eastern Sierra Nevada as the landscapes around Almería.
