MEDevice Boston 2027

MEDevice Boston (formerly BIOMEDevice Boston) is Informa Markets' two-day medical device trade show and conference at the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston, bringing together medical device OEMs, engineers, startups and solution providers from New England's MedTech sector. Explaining the rename, the organiser says the rebrand "reflects our vision to be the most trusted source and partner in pioneering the future of MedTech innovation."

MEDevice Boston 2027

MEDevice Boston runs May 11–12, 2027 at the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston, the venue formerly called the BCEC. That moves the show from late August, where the 2026 show sat, to May.

What it is

MEDevice Boston, formerly BIOMEDevice Boston, is Informa Markets' two-day medical device event for New England. Its exhibitors are suppliers of components, equipment, contract manufacturing and technology; its visitors are medical device OEM teams, engineers, R&D and regulatory staff, and startups looking for suppliers. The organiser presents it as a regional show, where Boston-area manufacturers can meet suppliers without leaving the region.

The conference

The MEDevice Conference, sold as a separate conference pass, runs alongside the expo floor in three tracks covering regulatory strategy, emerging technology and commercialization. Sessions on the current site include cybersecurity submissions, Software as a Medical Device, choosing between 510(k), De Novo and Breakthrough pathways, digital twins, robotics and image-guided systems, and what investors look for in MedTech startups.

Going by the 2026 show

• Pass types. An expo pass covers the floor. A conference pass adds the sessions, networking breakfasts and the Franklin Visionary Awards Luncheon, which expo-pass holders can buy separately.
• Open to everyone. Keynotes each morning, Quick-Connect speed networking on the show floor, Innovation Spotlight Theaters, and the NEMIC International Pitch Reception, where startups pitch to industry experts over drinks.
• Hands-on workshops. These cost extra without a conference pass, and some have limited capacity.
• Age limit. No one under 18 is admitted to the expo halls or conference rooms.
