BioTechX USA is Terrapinn's two-day Boston conference and exhibition on AI, data and digital transformation in drug discovery, clinical development and healthcare. It brings pharma, academia, clinicians and technology providers together.

BioTechX USA runs September 29–30, 2026 at Hynes Convention Center, Boston.

What it is

BioTechX USA is a two-day conference and exhibition that brings pharma, academia and clinicians together. Its subjects are diagnostics, precision medicine, digital transformation, data management and AI.

The exhibition hall has solution providers covering drug discovery, data management and artificial intelligence, plus a start-up presence. The organizer is Terrapinn, which also runs a European event, BioTechX Europe.

Conference tracks

The conference program runs in three tracks:

• Discovery Disrupted: AI in drug development and discovery; bioinformatics and in-silico R&D; large language models
• Data Unleashed: digital transformation; FAIR data management, storage and architecture
• Healthcare 4.0: AI in clinical trials; real-world evidence

Hours and what a pass covers

• Tuesday, September 29: 08:00–18:05, followed by a drinks reception
• Wednesday, September 30: 08:00–16:00 (the shorter day)

Poster presentation sessions run during the Day 1 lunch break and the Day 2 morning break. A pass covers every track session on both days, the exhibition hall, the networking drinks receptions, and the poster presentations and start-up pitching. Some attendees can apply for a free pass.

Food is not included, apart from free tea and coffee at the morning and afternoon breaks and canapés at the evening receptions, but on-site cafés sell hot and cold food. Badges are collected at the registration desk using a QR code from the Terrapinn Events app.
