Microsoft Ignite 2026

Microsoft Ignite runs November 17–20, 2026, at Moscone Center in San Francisco, with an optional pre-day on Monday, November 16. The online event runs November 17–19.

What it is

Ignite is Microsoft's conference for IT professionals, developers, partners and business leaders. The program has keynotes, technical sessions, hands-on labs, certifications and time with Microsoft experts. The organizer lists these topic areas: agentic business applications, the agent platform, cloud and AI platform, Copilot, data and AI platform, Frontier Transformation, security, and the Windows ecosystem.

Ways to attend

Ignite is sold as a set of passes:

• Conference pass: all in-person experiences at the Moscone Center campus, including sessions, labs and networking, plus the full digital event. Lunch, drinks and snacks are included.
• Hub-only pass: the Hub (booths, theater sessions and lunch service) at Moscone Center, November 17–19.
• Pre-day pass: an add-on for hands-on pre-day training and labs on November 16.
• Digital pass: online access to keynotes, sessions and technical content. The organizer says online attendance is free.

Some sessions are in-person only, and the attendee networking directory is limited to in-person attendees.

On site

The opening keynote is held at Chase Center, not Moscone, and shuttles run between them, so allow extra travel time. The Hub is where attendees meet Microsoft experts and partners. Its last day is November 19, and sessions, labs and certification slots continue into the final day.

Attendees can book free onsite certification exams and 45-minute one-on-one sessions with Microsoft engineers. Some sessions have captions and audio interpretation in several languages, with AI captions elsewhere.
