A European event for licensing and brand extension, bringing together retailers, licensees and manufacturers for the brand, entertainment and art industries.

Brand Licensing Europe 2027

Brand Licensing Europe runs 28–30 September 2027 at ExCeL London, Royal Victoria Dock, in London's Docklands. That is a week or so earlier in the calendar than 2026, which ran 6–8 October.

What it is

BLE describes itself as the only pan-European event dedicated to licensing and brand extension. Brand owners — entertainment studios, sports properties, character and corporate brands — exhibit their IP to the retailers, licensees and manufacturers who license it, over three days of meetings and deal-making. It is run by the Global Licensing Group, part of Informa Markets.

Practical details

• Trade only, 18+. BLE is for business professionals and enforces a strict no-under-18 policy; security spot-checks ID at the entrance. Students and groups attend only through pre-approved programs.
• Register in advance. Advance registration gets a complimentary standard pass; registering on site carries an entry fee. Badges are emailed about a week before the show to print at home.
• Studio showcases are invitation-only, with invite lists run by the studios themselves.
• Meetings. Registered attendees get an online event planner for browsing the exhibitor list and brand directory and sending meeting requests.
• Where in ExCeL. The show is in the South Event Hall (entrances S1–S6), with educational sessions in the main hall and extra meeting rooms in the South Gallery on the second floor.
