C2E2 - Chicago Comic & Entertainment 2027

C2E2, the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo, is an annual pop-culture convention at McCormick Place in Chicago, produced by ReedPop. It brings fans together with comic creators, authors, celebrities and exhibitors across comics, cosplay, gaming, anime and wrestling.

C2E2 - Chicago Comic & Entertainment runs April 30–May 2, 2027 at McCormick Place, Chicago.

What it is

C2E2, the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo, is a pop-culture fan convention open to the public, not a trade-only show. It covers comic books, cosplay, video games, anime, TV and film, books, wrestling and comedy. The weekend brings together celebrity guests, exhibitors, comic creators and authors across Artist Alley and the Show Floor, along with panels, photo ops and autographs, and After Dark events.

The organizer calls it "the largest pop culture convention in the Midwest". C2E2 is produced by ReedPop, part of RX.

Hours and location

The show is in the South Building at McCormick Place. General show hours:

• Friday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (a shorter last day)

The organizer will post hours for panels, After Dark and other programming, as well as Will Call, closer to the show.

Tickets

• Choose between 3-Day and single-day general admission, VIP tiers, and Kids tickets. Prices go up in steps after an early-bird window, so buying early costs less.
• Everyone aged six and up needs a ticket. Kids tickets are for ages 6–12. Anyone under 16 must be with a parent or guardian.
• Celebrity photo ops and autographs are a separate purchase from admission.
• Tickets are sold only online or at participating retailers, not by phone. Orders placed after the mailing deadline are picked up at Will Call with ID.
