California Resource Recovery Association Conference 2027
About California Resource Recovery Association Conference
A conference for resource recovery and waste management professionals in California, featuring education, networking, and exhibits. It is a key event for industry innovation and policy discussion.
CRRA Conference & Trade Show 2027
The California Resource Recovery Association's annual Conference & Trade Show runs August 29 – September 1, 2027 at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in Sacramento, California. It follows the 2026 conference in San Diego.
What it is
CRRA, founded in 1974, describes itself as California's statewide recycling association and a non-profit dedicated to sustainability through Zero Waste strategies — product stewardship, waste prevention, reuse, recycling and composting. Its annual conference pairs a program of sessions with a trade show floor, and draws on CRRA's technical councils, which members join to work on specific policy areas. The 2026 conference included a Changemaker Recognition and CRRA's Mentorship Circle, its six-month program for the next generation of resource recovery and Zero Waste leaders.
Practical notes
- Exhibiting: CRRA says 2027 exhibitor registration will open later; trade-show questions go to its conference staff via the conference page.
- Conference app: CRRA runs the program on Whova — attendees use it to build a personal schedule, take part in session Q&A and polls, and view live-streamed sessions, which have been available to re-watch for three months after the conference. Attendees must log in with the email they registered with.
