FABTECH Mexico 2027

FABTECH Mexico is a metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing trade show at Cintermex in Monterrey. It serves buyers of metal manufacturing machinery and services in Mexico and Latin America and is co-sponsored by FMA, SME, AWS, PMA and the Industrial Finishing & Coating Association.

FABTECH Mexico runs May 4–6, 2027 at Cintermex, Monterrey.

What it is

FABTECH Mexico is the Mexican member of the FABTECH family of metalworking shows, covering metal forming, fabricating, welding and industrial finishing. The organizer pitches it at "anyone involved in researching, evaluating and purchasing machinery, products, or services in the metal manufacturing sector." The show is co-sponsored by the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association (FMA), SME, the American Welding Society (AWS), the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) and the Industrial Finishing & Coating Association (formerly CCAI).

The floor is split into four specialized pavilions, and the exhibition takes up all the halls at Cintermex:

• Stamping and Press Automation
• Fabricating – lasers and laser systems, punch presses, press brakes, tooling
• Welding – machinery and robots
• Finishing – finishing and coating technology

Admission and hours

• Trade only. No one under 16 is admitted, including infants in arms and strollers.
• Registration. Show-floor access is free with online pre-registration. You don't have to pre-register, since on-site registration is in the Cintermex concourse, but pre-registering skips the lines.
• Hours and student window. So far the organizer has published hours only for Thursday, May 6: 11 am–6 pm. Student access opens that afternoon from 2:30 pm, with no registration needed. Students must wear formal dress, and backpacks go to the wardrobe room.
• Education. A conference program and workshops run alongside the expo. The show's mobile app lets you build a schedule of conferences, workshops and business meetings.
