The Grand Strand Gift & Resort Merchandise Show is Clarion Events' wholesale buying show in Myrtle Beach for coastal souvenir, gift and resort retailers. It is held each December so beach-town stores can plan and buy for the next season during the off-season.

Grand Strand Gift & Resort Merchandise Show runs December 6–9, 2026 at Myrtle Beach Convention Center, Myrtle Beach.

What it is

This is Clarion Events' wholesale show for souvenir, gift and resort retailers, especially businesses in beach towns. The organizer bills it as "the largest coastal souvenir trade show in the nation" and says it has run for more than 35 years.

It is scheduled so retailers can plan and buy during the off-season. Manufacturers and sales representatives show established lines, top sellers and new products.

The show is open to the trade only, and admission is free to qualified retailers. The organizer strongly discourages bringing children under 14 or strollers.

Product categories on the floor include:

• coastal and nautical décor, and customizable souvenirs
• resort apparel and swimwear, headwear and footwear
• jewelry and accessories, and Made in America goods
• home accessories, gourmet products and general giftware
• shell items, and toys and games

Buyers come from beach and surf shops, marinas, hotel gift shops, aquariums and zoos, amusement and water parks, national and state park stores, museums, campgrounds and general gift retailers.

• Sunday–Tuesday, December 6–8: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
• Wednesday, December 9: 9 a.m.–2 p.m. (short last day)

Clarion lists daily cash prize drawings, a goody bag giveaway, a new-exhibitor product preview area and a show party. The detailed schedule will be posted closer to the show. The organizer also notes that the show was named one of Trade Show Executive's Gold 100 events.
