Halloween & Party Expo 2027

Halloween & Party Expo is an annual trade-only buying show where costume, party and gift retailers source Halloween, party and celebration merchandise from manufacturers. Clarion Events and the Halloween & Costume Association organize it.

Halloween & Party Expo runs January 11–13, 2027 at Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Hall H, New Orleans.

What it is

This is a trade buying show for Halloween and party merchandise. The organizer describes it as "the retailers' one stop shopping destination for all things Halloween and Party." Manufacturers exhibit costumes, accessories, makeup, novelties, props, toys, gifts, décor and party supplies. Buyers come from:

• costume, party and gift stores
• chain and big-box retailers
• temporary and seasonal stores
• online retailers
• souvenir and resort shops, and boutiques
• entertainment companies
• supermarkets, drugstores and hardware stores

Clarion Events and the Halloween & Costume Association organize the show. The association, formerly the Halloween Industry Association, is a 501(c)(6) trade group for companies that make, import or distribute Halloween products.

Admission: trade only

The Expo is not open to the general public. Qualified retail buyers register free.

Attendees may be asked for business identification, such as a business license, sales tax ID, business card or company letterhead. Manufacturers who are not exhibiting pay a separate registration fee.

Hours and on-site extras

• Monday, January 11: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday, January 12: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday, January 13: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (closes early)

Registration is in the Hall H lobby. On the show floor, buyers have a lounge with morning coffee, and the organizer lists complimentary coffee, lunches and happy hours.
