Intersolar Europe 2027
Intersolar Europe 2027 runs June 8–10, 2027 at Messe München in Munich. The Intersolar Europe Conference is held June 7–8, 2027 at the ICM – International Congress Center Messe München, starting the day before the exhibition opens.
What it is
Intersolar Europe is an exhibition for the solar industry, covering photovoltaics, solar thermal technologies and solar plants. The organizers call it "the world's leading exhibition for the solar industry" and say it has run for more than 30 years under the motto "Connecting Solar Business".
Exhibitors include manufacturers, suppliers and distributors of PV and solar thermal products, system providers and integrators, project developers and EPC contractors, research institutes, certification bodies and financial service providers. The audience includes project developers and planners, installers, distributors, energy consultants, utilities, investors and analysts, and architects.
The floor covers solar cells and modules, inverters, mounting and tracking systems, monitoring and control, BIPV, and off-grid systems. There is also a PV production technology segment for ingot, wafer, cell and module manufacturing equipment, along with solar thermal collectors, process heat, and solar power plants from residential rooftops to utility-scale installations.
The smarter E Europe
Intersolar Europe is one of four exhibitions that make up The smarter E Europe, alongside ees Europe (batteries and energy storage), Power2Drive Europe (charging infrastructure and e-mobility) and EM-Power Europe (energy management). All four share the same halls and dates.
The organizers expect more than 2,600 exhibitors in total across The smarter E Europe. Each exhibition has its own conference running at the ICM at the same time.
Hours and practical notes
- Tuesday, June 8: 9:00am–6:00pm
- Wednesday, June 9: 9:00am–6:00pm
- Thursday, June 10: 9:00am–5:00pm
The exhibition uses halls A1–A6, B3–B4, C1 and C4 plus the outdoor area. The organizers say the ticket shop opens in February 2027. Tickets can also be bought on site, but expect a wait, and exhibition tickets do not include public transport.
The organizers do not issue visa invitation letters. Dogs are not allowed on the grounds, apart from assistance dogs.
