• Short last day. Messe Düsseldorf lists opening hours of 10:00–18:00 Monday to Wednesday and 10:00–16:00 on Thursday.
• COMPAMED runs at the same time. The supplier fair COMPAMED, for components, materials and manufacturing technology for medical devices, is held alongside MEDICA on the same dates.
• Forums and conferences. MEDICA's programme combines forums and stages with separate conferences; the MEDICA START-UP COMPETITION is already taking entries for 2027, with a registration deadline of 9 September 2027.
