National Money Show® 2027

The National Money Show® is one of the American Numismatic Association's two conventions, alongside the World's Fair of Money®. Collectors and dealers buy, sell and trade rare coins and paper money on the bourse floor, with free Money Talks lectures, collector exhibits and youth programs.

National Money Show® 2027

National Money Show® runs March 4–6, 2027 in Virginia Beach.

What it is

The American Numismatic Association (ANA) hosts the National Money Show. The ANA is a nonprofit educational organization for coin collectors, and this is one of its two conventions, alongside the summer World's Fair of Money. The show is a bourse and educational event for collectors and dealers of rare coins, paper money, medals and tokens.

Visitors can "buy, sell, and trade with hundreds of coin dealers," attend lectures by numismatists, and find out what their own coins may be worth. The 2026 show was at the Savannah Convention Center in Georgia, and the 2027 show is in Virginia Beach. The ANA says more information on the 2027 show will follow.

Education and features

The ANA's Money Talks lectures run at every National Money Show and are free to attend. Each is a 30- to 45-minute program that includes audience questions. The 2026 show also offered:

• a Money Museum Showcase of items from the ANA's museum and private collections
• a collector exhibit area
• Ernie's Treasure Treehouse for kids in grades K–12
• a Young Collectors Corner, where Scouts can work on the Coin Collecting Merit Badge

Hours and admission

The ANA has not posted 2027 hours or admission yet. In 2026, the final day (Saturday) closed earlier than Thursday and Friday, and last admission was 30 minutes before closing.

ANA members and children under 12 got in free, and admission was free for everyone on the last day. On-site registration was cashless, though cash could still be used on the bourse floor.

The ANA's other convention, the 2027 World's Fair of Money®, runs August 10–14, 2027 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.
