Be+Well | Beauty and Wellness Show New York is the Questex trade show that combines the International Beauty Show (IBS) and IECSC. It brings hair, esthetics, nail, spa and wellness professionals together with product exhibitors, and offers free product education and paid conference classes.

What it is

Be+Well is the new name for two long-running professional shows. Questex has brought the International Beauty Show (IBS) and the International Esthetic, Cosmetic & Spa Conference (IECSC) under one brand.

The audience is working professionals: hairstylists, colorists, barbers, salon owners, estheticians, nail and lash technicians, medical spa practitioners, and spa and wellness directors. Every exhibitor sells or distributes products or services for the spa, wellness and beauty industries, and the organizer counts more than 450 exhibitors.

The show is marketed only to industry professionals, and all attendees must be at least 16. No license is required, because not all states license salon and spa professionals, but the organizer recommends bringing some form of professional identification.

Floor neighborhoods

The expo floor is organized into themed neighborhoods:

• Hair & Salon Essentials
• Spa & Wellness
• Nails, Cosmetics, Brows & Lashes
• Business District (AI and tech solutions, business services, insurance)
• Tech Zone
• Retail Zone

Education and passes

There are two tiers of education. Product Focused Education classes are free with paid daily Exhibit Hall admission. Conference sessions are paid.

The VIP and Premium passes bundle a set number of conference sessions with three-day expo access, and an expo-only pass (one or three days) can have individual sessions added. Some classes count toward CEU credit and are marked as such in the class details.

The organizer's schedule page lists exhibit hall hours of 10:30am–5:00pm on the first two days and a shorter final day, 10:30am–3:30pm, which is also Student Day. The same page notes that the full 2027 schedule is still to come. Questex also runs Be+Well shows in Las Vegas and Florida.
