New Jersey Boat Sale & Expo 2027

The New Jersey Boat Sale & Expo is an annual February boat show in Edison, produced by the non-profit Marine Trades Association of New Jersey. Dealers show new boats alongside marine accessories and gear, with free fishing seminars. Proceeds support the state's boating industry.

New Jersey Boat Sale & Expo runs February 4–7, 2027 in Edison.

What it is

The Marine Trades Association of New Jersey (MTA/NJ) produces this public boat show. MTA/NJ is a non-profit whose mission is to promote, protect and advance recreational boating in the state, and all proceeds from the show support that work. The organizer bills it as "the state’s premier boating event," and says it has run since 2012.

On the floor:

• new boats from New Jersey dealers, most of them open to board at the dealer's discretion
• a Boater's Marketplace of accessories and services
• marine electronics and gear
• fishing and lifestyle products

Many visitors buy boats at the show itself, and dealers offer show-only deals. The show does not sell used boats, but many exhibitors bring used-boat listings.

Visiting

The organizer has not yet posted 2027 hours. In 2026 the show ran Thursday through Sunday: 11 am–7 pm on weekdays, 10 am–7 pm on Saturday and 10 am–5 pm on Sunday.

• Tickets: sold online and at the door, and cheaper online. Young children get in free with a paid adult. Tickets are good for one day only, with same-day re-entry by hand stamp.
• Parking and pets: parking is free on site, and leashed pets are allowed.
• Food: a food court and bars are open.

Seminars and family activities

The show includes free fishing seminars. In 2026, local charter captains and anglers covered bluefin tuna, striped bass, fluke, tautog, and cooking your catch. The Kids Cove has activities for children on Saturday and Sunday.
