Pharma Forum is an annual conference on meeting and event management for the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical and life sciences industries, bringing together corporate, third-party and association planners with hotel, venue and technology suppliers. It is organized by Informa Connect.

Pharma Forum runs March 21–24, 2027 at Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, National Harbor.

What it is

Pharma Forum is a conference for the people who plan meetings and events in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical and wider life sciences industries. Informa Connect, part of Informa PLC, organizes it.

The audience is corporate, third-party and association meeting planners, joined by procurement specialists, compliance and medical affairs staff, and the hotels, venues and technology suppliers that serve them. The organizer says the conference has been running for over 20 years, and the host city moves: the 2026 event was held in Boston.

Program

Regulation is, in the organizer's words, "a major pillar" of the content: US and global compliance rules for HCP and medical meetings, data privacy (GDPR, Sunshine Act), and compliant virtual, hybrid and in-person formats. Other threads include AI and digital transformation in event management, event logistics, budgets and vendor strategy, and a mix of workshops, certification courses, roundtables and leadership sessions. CMP credits are available.

Passes and access

• Planner passes cover the prelude summits, the three-day conference, the expo hall, on- and off-site networking and the ConnectMe app.
• One planner pass is complimentary in return for pre-scheduling and attending at least eight appointments with suppliers and exhibitors; a paid planner pass carries no appointment commitment.
• Non-planner/DMC and supplier passes include the conference content and expo hall, but not appointment scheduling, the attendee list, or offsite and planner-only networking.
• Accommodation is not included in registration. Attendees book their own rooms; the organizer holds a discounted block at the Gaylord that expires ahead of the meeting.
