Pharmacy U Vancouver is a one-day conference for pharmacy owners, pharmacists, technicians, executives and students, focused on practice and the business side of Canadian pharmacy. It is run by EnsembleIQ as one of three yearly Pharmacy U events, alongside Toronto and Montréal.

What it is

Pharmacy U is a one-day conference on the practice and business of community pharmacy, run by EnsembleIQ. The organizer describes its Pharmacy U events as "Canada’s only conferences designed to advance how pharmacy is practiced", with content aimed at the business side of the industry.

It is built for pharmacy owners and managers, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, chain and banner executives, and pharmacy students. The 2026 program opens with a keynote marking 15 years of Pharmacy U.

The day

The Saturday runs from registration, breakfast and the vendor hall at 8:00 AM through a closing cocktail and networking hour at 5:30–6:00 PM. Between them are the keynote, parallel clinical and practice sessions, a plenary panel, lunch and a dedicated vendor-hall block in the afternoon. Session topics on the 2026 agenda include travel health services, vaccination, dermatology and skin health, ADHD care, iron deficiency, CGM and diabetes, and obesity.

Registration and learning credit

• One registration covers all sessions, the keynote, networking events, the vendor hall, breakfast, lunch and end-of-day food, plus digital copies of the presentations.
• Sessions count toward continuing education requirements as non-accredited learning records. The organizer says attendees can gain over 5 hours of education and receive a certificate of attendance two weeks after the event.
• Refunds require written notice by a published cut-off date, after which registrations are non-refundable.
• The organizer offers no discounted hotel rate and advises booking early.

EnsembleIQ runs Pharmacy U three times a year, in Toronto, Montréal and Vancouver.
