An invite-only restaurant facilities and development event from CPMG, an Emerald X brand. It matches chain executives in architecture, design, construction, development and facilities with suppliers through small-group boardroom presentations and one-on-one meetings.

RestaurantPoint West runs February 21–24, 2027 at The Westin La Paloma Resort, Tucson.

What it is

RestaurantPoint West is an invite-only meeting event for the restaurant built environment. It is run by CPMG, an Emerald X brand. It pairs executives from quick-serve, fast-casual and full-service chains who make decisions on architecture, construction, design, development and facilities with suppliers to those functions.

The organizer says it is not a traditional trade show: decision-makers are matched with suppliers through a matching process before the event. Supplier categories include:

• architecture and building materials
• electrical and lighting, and energy management
• flooring, and furniture, fixtures and décor
• general contractors
• HVAC and kitchen ventilation, kitchen equipment, and refrigeration and ice equipment
• plumbing and restrooms
• signage and wayfinding

How the format works

• Boardroom presentations: Executives are placed in advance into small groups of 7–9 peers with similar interests. Suppliers give 20-minute presentations to each group.
• One-on-one appointments: Private 15-minute meetings between an executive and a supplier.
• Keynotes, content sessions and networking: These include a welcome reception, optional Sunday activities, networking breakfasts and lunches, and three nights of catered dinners.

Qualified chain executives attend as hosted guests. The organizer builds each executive's agenda and covers event costs, including travel, accommodation and meals. Suppliers buy presentation and meeting packages, and the fee includes presentations, one-on-ones, content sessions, meals, social events and a listing in the event directory.

Schedule shape

On the draft agenda, Sunday, February 21 is for arrivals, badge pickup, supplier orientation, introductions for chain executives, a kickoff speaker and dinner. Boardroom presentations fill Monday and Tuesday mornings, and one-on-one appointments fill the afternoons.

A closing cocktail reception and dinner follow on Tuesday. Wednesday, February 24 is departure day, with airport shuttles running from 4 to 10 a.m.
