RetailSpaces 2027

An invite-only retreat for retail store development, design and construction leaders, run by influence group, part of CloserStill Media. Peer sessions are combined with pre-scheduled one-on-one vendor meetings, with retreats in the fall and spring.

RetailSpaces 2027 in Carlsbad

The spring RetailSpaces retreat runs March 7–9, 2027, Sunday to Tuesday, in Carlsbad, California. The organiser has not yet named the resort or published the spring speaker line-up.

What it is

RetailSpaces describes itself as a retreat for store development and design leaders, and as a community of people transforming brick-and-mortar retail through live events and content. It is run by influence group, part of CloserStill Media. Retail executives in store development, design, construction and facilities meet the vendors who serve them; there is no exhibit floor, and vendor contact runs through pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings alongside peer sessions.

How attendance works

• Retail executives who qualify attend at no cost. The organiser says the invitation includes accommodations for two nights, full meals and access to all networking excursions.
• Vendors take part as partners rather than exhibitors.
• Past speakers have included construction, store development and design leaders from Target, CVS Health, Kering, Five Below, Total Wine & More and PacSun.

The fall retreat

RetailSpaces runs twice a year in different places. After Carlsbad, the fall retreat is in Hollywood, Florida, on September 19–21, 2027.
