Senior Living Innovation Forum 2027

The Senior Living Innovation Forum (SLIF) is an invite-only retreat for executive leadership from senior living providers and a selected group of industry vendors. Founded in 2015 and run by Influence Group, it holds a fall and a spring retreat, each at a different resort, combining talks and roundtables with pre-scheduled one-on-one vendor meetings.

Senior Living Innovation Forum 2027 in Pasadena

The spring Senior Living Innovation Forum (SLIF) runs June 6–8, 2027 at The Langham Huntington in Pasadena, California. Registration opens at noon on Sunday, June 6, and the retreat ends with a brunch at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8.

What it is

SLIF is not a trade show; its organiser calls it "The Opposite of a Trade Show." In the organiser's words it is "an invite-only gathering that brings together CXOs from the nation's top senior living providers as well as senior leadership from industry partners and vendors," and the spring page says it is limited to 250 industry leaders. Influence Group runs it, at a different resort each time. Pasadena follows the fall retreat on Amelia Island, Florida, in November 2026.

How it works

• Attending: qualified senior housing executives attend at no cost by invitation. Registration covers two nights' accommodation (Sunday and Monday), meals from Sunday dinner through Tuesday, and access to the full program and networking excursions. Cancellation fees apply within four weeks of the event unless a replacement from the same organisation is sent.
• Vendors: they take part as SLIF partners and meet executives in pre-scheduled sourcing sessions.
• Spouses are welcome; the organiser says a spouse program is coming. The dress code is casual, with no suits or jackets.

Agenda shape

• Sunday, June 6: registration opens at noon, followed by networking activities, a 6:15 p.m. welcome reception, an outdoor dinner and an evening keynote.
• Monday, June 7: a 6:30 a.m. group run or walk and breakfast on the lawn, then a keynote, sourcing sessions alternating with Innovation Talks, a networking lunch, afternoon MasterMind Roundtables, a happy-hour town hall and a dinner party.
• Tuesday, June 8: a general session, sourcing sessions, Innovation Talks and peer roundtables, ending with the Bon Voyage Brunch.

The 2027 speakers and topics have not been announced. Topics the forum has recently explored include financial and operational agility, memory care design, interoperability and data standards, AI-driven care, pricing and affordability models, the workforce, and the middle market.
