What it is

The Home Care Innovation Forum (HCIF) is billed by its organizer as "the retreat for home care + hospice leaders" and "the opposite of a trade show." It is invite-only, and attendance is limited to 250 industry leaders. Executives from home health, home care and hospice organizations meet each other and a selected group of vendor partners.

Influence Group produces it, as part of CloserStill Media. The same team runs the Senior Living Innovation Forum and HealthSpaces.

How it works

• Attending: qualified home health care and hospice leaders attend at no cost. Registration includes two nights' lodging, full meals, and access to all sessions and networking excursions.
• Vendors: they take part as partners. Executives review the partner list ahead of time and schedule pre-planned 20-minute one-on-one meetings.
• Content: TED-style talks, fireside chats, small-group discussions and "MasterMind" roundtables. Recent topics included technology adoption barriers, caregiver retention, AI in at-home care, regulatory compliance, reimbursement pressure, dementia support and end-of-life care.

Agenda shape

• Sunday, May 16: registration opens at noon, followed by networking activities, a welcome reception and an opening-night dinner.
• Monday, May 17: starts with a group run or walk and an opening keynote. The day alternates sourcing sessions with innovation talks, then moves to small-group discussions and a "Wine Down" keynote panel, and ends with a dinner party.
• Tuesday, May 18: innovation talks, sourcing sessions and MasterMind roundtables, ending with a noon brunch.

The 2027 speaker lineup has not been announced.
