Texas Restaurant Show 2027

The Texas Restaurant Show runs July 11–12, 2027 at the Henry B. González Convention Center in San Antonio. It's a two-day, Sunday-to-Monday show, and the 2027 show marks 90 years of the Texas Restaurant Association and its show.

What it is

The Texas Restaurant Show is the Texas Restaurant Association's annual restaurant and foodservice trade show, backed by the association since 1937. Suppliers of food and beverage, equipment, technology and services exhibit to restaurant owners and operators (independents, multi-unit brands and franchises), chefs and kitchen leaders, general managers, bar and nightclub operators, beverage directors and hospitality entrepreneurs. The organizer calls it "the largest hospitality event in the Southwest." It reports that the 2026 show drew more than 7,000 restaurant and hospitality professionals from 400+ cities, with 600+ exhibitor booths and education across five stages.

The show floor and education are for the industry only. Education takes place on stages on the show floor, so it's part of show registration rather than a separate conference. Registration categories are set by type: Texas Restaurant Association restaurant and bar members, non-member restaurants and bars, allied members, non-exhibiting suppliers and vendors, and students and educators.

Early-bird registration runs until mid-June. The Texas Restaurant Awards is a separately ticketed evening event, which the organizer describes as the Texas Restaurant Foundation's largest annual fundraiser.

Bar & Nightclub Showcase and competitions

After the association acquired the Texas Bar & Nightclub Alliance and the Texas Bar & Nightclub Convention, it folded bars and nightlife into the show. The Bar & Nightclub Showcase, which debuted in 2026, returns in 2027 on the show floor with spirits, beer, wine, cocktail equipment and technology for restaurants, bars, nightclubs, hotels and other alcohol-serving businesses. The Lone Star Tapas Showdown, which the organizer describes as the first officially sanctioned World Tapas Competition event in the United States, returns as the U.S. championship, with chefs competing live.

The 2027 show also plans 90th-anniversary exhibits. Show badges unlock discounts around San Antonio through a partnership with Visit San Antonio.
