The Battery Show North America returns to Huntington Place, 1 Washington Boulevard in Detroit, Michigan, on October 11–14, 2027. Booth reservations for 2027 are open.

What it is

Run by Informa Markets, The Battery Show is a trade event for advanced battery and electric vehicle technology. Suppliers on the floor cover battery components and materials, testing solutions, power management, EV drive systems, thermal management and energy storage. The organiser lists its audience as design, project and application engineers; owners and executives; R&D specialists; production and operations staff; quality professionals; and purchasing decision-makers.

How the week works

• Co-located show. It runs alongside the Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo on the same dates and floor, and the organiser markets the pair as The Battery Show and EV Tech Expo.
• Workshops on day one. At the 2026 show, the first day carried in-depth three-hour workshops before the expo opened; the conference then opened each day with a keynote and a leaders' roundtable.
• Conference and expo are separate. Technical sessions, case studies and rapid-fire presentations sit in the paid conference programme, while the expo floor has its own education stage, live product demos and sponsored sessions.
• Executive Summit. At the 2026 show, a closed-door day for C-suite executives and senior industry leaders ran on the final day.
• Networking. Past programmes included the Women in EV Lunch, an expo-floor networking reception and the Battery Awards.
